About this conversion
JSONL, also called JSON Lines or NDJSON, contains one JSON object per non-empty line instead of a single outer array. This tool stops when a record is invalid and reports its original line number. It does not silently discard malformed records. Fields from different records become columns; absent fields become empty cells.

How to convert JSONL to CSV
- Choose your JSONL file, or paste its contents.
- Review the preview and the output options. Check the format limitations below.
- Select Convert, review each result, then download the ready files.
Example
{"id":1,"name":"A"}
{"id":2,"name":"B"}
These two lines produce two CSV data rows. Do not wrap JSONL records in an array; use JSON to CSV for an array input.Limits and common problems
The tool accepts one data file up to 10 MiB. Review the result before importing it into a spreadsheet or another application.
An invalid record or ambiguous column layout stops the export. Correct the input before trying again; no invalid record is silently discarded.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use an NDJSON file?
Yes. This tool uses the same one-object-per-line structure. If your file picker filters the extension, drag the NDJSON file into the input area or paste its contents.
Does a bad line get skipped?
No. The converter stops and identifies the invalid source line. Fix the record deliberately, then run the conversion again.
